Alongside infrastructural and urban improvements, the metropolitan area of Bologna offers significant localisation opportunities for the coming years.
Out of the territorys 190 areas of production, 14 new areas have been identified featuring excellent accessibility, availability of land and compliance with environmental regulations, and which thus have potential for strategic development.
There are 4.5 million m2 of land available for new development featuring road and railway connections to all the main trade routes. The areas of production are also linked to existing infrastructure (motorways, railways and airports)
