During the most important international real estate event, Bologna will present the investment opportunities offered by the main development projects for the metropolitan area
The metropolitan area of Bologna, represented by Bologna System, will be showcased once again this year at MIPIM (Cannes, 16-19 March). A valuable opportunity to present highlights of the main urban and infrastructure development projects that are changing the face of the city, improving accessibility and links with Europe and the rest of the world.
The biggest international real estate and urban development event will see Bologna present itself as a "system", once again emphasizing the collaboration between institutions and key players in major urban and infrastructural projects that are transforming the area. Future projects for the metropolitan area include redevelopment of parts of the city, new development projects tied to the high speed railway line and the growth of the airport, alienation of public buildings as well as new residential and office complexes.
MIPIM is an ideal gateway for Bologna to gain international visibility with regard to the themes of its urban, infrastructural and logistic development. "In spite of the difficulties of the current economic downturn" says PromoBologna, the local development agency coordinating Bologna System, "Bologna, as a national logistics hub and strategic economic centre, is continuing to keep pace with he main Italian and European Regions, offering information at MIPIM on local investment opportunities. The city will be represented by partners from Bologna System in a new exhibition space in Lerins Hall (LR 2.10A), with other important cities and alongside the Emilia-Romagna Region."
Over the 4 days, Bologna System, a territory network, will showcase highlights of the investment opportunities offered by the main development projects, many of which hinge on the city's key multi-purpose hubs.
