The Invest in Bologna project team continues its efforts to enhance the international appeal of the Metropolitan City, with a strong presence at MIPIM 2025, the world’s leading real estate and investment fair.
From March 11 to 14, a Bologna delegation attended the Cannes event to showcase the region’s investment opportunities to investors, businesses, and real estate operators. The delegation included Marco Panieri, Mayor of Imola; Rosa Grimaldi, Delegate for Economic Promotion, Attractiveness, Innovation, Enterprises and Startups, Cultural and Creative Industries, and the Impact of the Technopole for the Municipality and Metropolitan City of Bologna; Vincenzo Colla, Vice President and Regional Minister for Economic Development; along with other regional administrators and technical experts. The goal is to establish Invest in Bologna as a key reference for economic development, highlighting infrastructure, quality of life, and the dynamism of the local business ecosystem.
This initiative is part of Invest in Bologna, a project aimed at enhancing the metropolitan city’s economic ecosystem by supporting new business settlements and fostering the growth of strategic sectors such as technology, advanced manufacturing, and sustainability.
At MIPIM 2025, some of the region’s most significant development projects were presented, focusing on innovation and urban regeneration. The event provided a unique opportunity to attract investments and expertise, reinforcing Invest in Bologna’s role as a center of excellence in the global real estate investment landscape.
