Educational options at the University of Bologna and Italian language courses

The Bologna Business School (BBS) is the international business school of the University of Bologna for Higher Management Education. The BBS offers full-time masters (first and second level), executive masters, MBAs and in-depth training programs for recent graduates, young professionals and managers.

To reach the 30 credits required in the integration agreement or to apply for an EU long-term residence permit, you need to get a certificate declaring you have a basic knowledge of the Italian language. There are free courses organized by the CPIA (Centers for adult education and training) which grant such certification when you pass their final exam. There are 3 CPIAs in the metropolitan area of Bologna.
If you already have a good working knowledge of Italian language, you can take the exam directly without attending the course. In addition, if you are not able to attend the course in person, you can sign up to take the test online. If you pass this legally valid test, you receive the necessary credits for your integration agreement and to request your EU long-term residence permit.
